The session will be led by Sem Devillart — a cultural analyst, futurist and researcher specialising in visual and digital culture. For more than 20 years, she has analysed cultural change and helped organisations translate emerging signals and patterns into strategic decisions, new solutions and operating models.
During the workshop, participants will explore how to observe the world around them, identify seemingly unrelated signals and turn them into useful insights. Sem Devillart’s method is based on examining phenomena present in culture, lifestyle, language, media, technology and social behaviour, and then identifying recurring patterns.
In the context of employer branding, this perspective can help organisations better understand people’s changing needs, design more relevant employee experiences and create communication that responds to genuine social change.
What can you expect during the workshop?
- an introduction to a method for observing and analysing cultural signals,
- learning how to identify recurring patterns and directions of change,
- exercises designed to strengthen awareness of emerging social phenomena,
- a perspective on trends that goes beyond short-lived fashions,
- inspiration for creating strategies that respond to people’s changing expectations,
- practical insights that can be applied in employer branding, HR and communications.
Who is this workshop for?
The workshop is particularly suitable for:
- employer branding specialists and managers,
- representatives of HR, communications and marketing departments,
- professionals responsible for employee experience and candidate experience,
- strategists, researchers and service designers,
- leaders planning long-term organisational initiatives,
- people interested in trends, cultural change and the future of work.
Why is it worth attending?
An effective employer branding strategy requires not only an understanding of current data, but also the ability to recognise changes taking place in culture and human behaviour.
The workshop helps participants develop the ability to observe their environment consciously and interpret signals that may be significant for the future of their organisation. It is an opportunity to take a broader view of the needs of employees and candidates and better prepare the employer brand for future change.
